What is the Storefront Market?
The Storefront Market was founded towards the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic out of necessity. Local mom and pop businesses were struggling, artists and musicians were struggling. To help counteract these issues, Storefront Records founder Fantastic Negrito decided to create an open-air market to give community members a place to gather, a place to sell their products, and a stage to showcase their talent. The Storefront Market is 100% free to vendors and visitors. We welcome guests with open hearts and open minds.
After nearly a year and a half now, there have been eight markets with more planned for the future. Join our mailing list to stay informed about future events! We look forward to seeing you at the Storefront Market.

Who has seen Fantastic Negrito busking on the streets of Oakland and SF? Storefront Records is an independent record label created by Oakland based artist Fantastic Negrito, whose roots originate in busking around the Bay Area. This month’s market theme is “The Art of Busking” and will feature performances from Bay Area buskers, as well as a wide spectrum of food vendors. All of our events are free to attend and family friendly. Come eat, greet and meet every last Saturday of the month!
